College Impact’s research program, developed by former Ivy League admissions officers, supports high school students looking to dive deeper into an academic area of interest, gain unique, hands-on research experience and build skills that will set them up for success in the college process – and beyond.

 
 

1-on-1 research mentorship aligned with your child’s academic area of interest.

Work 1-on-1 with an accomplished research mentor to develop independent research project, establish project deliverables and author a research paper for peer-review and publication in an academic journal.

Our program pairs students with mentors from top-ranked research universities. Students work 1-on-1 online with their mentors - all of whom have obtained or are completing their PhD from top universities - to develop independent research skills while building specialized profile development attributes.

We currently have mentors available in more than 50 academic disciplines, from artificial intelligence to political science to cognitive psychology.

Guided individually by their research mentor over 10 weeks, students explore a unique research project aligned with an academic area of interest. Students can develop, write and publish a peer-reviewed research paper – as well as earn a letter of recommendation for use in their future college applications.
